What is a Complete
Computer System?
A complete computer
system is really very basic, let us talk about
what the word complete means. A complete system
will include the following items.
1. A computer tower/desktop
or Laptop unit.
2. Computer Monitor or Screen of Some kind.
3. Keyboard, mouse, speakers
4. printer or all or one printer-scanner-copier
5. operating system, example window 7 or Mac
OS-X
The above description
gives you an idea of what a complete system means.
This means all the necessary hardware and software
to use the computer to do almost anything. A complete
system let's a person know that they do not have
to purchase anything extra to make the computer
function in most areas. The only exception to
this rule is a complete computer system will not
include all software available as there is hundreds
of thousands of different programs out there.
But a complete computer system will include an
operating system already installed and ready to
go.
When describing a
complete system make sure that it has all the
above options as a minimum as they are all necessary
to use a computer in most functions. Just a tower
without the screen and other input devices is
not a complete computer system.
Some people may describe
items 1-2-3 as a complete computer system and
it is, but in hardware only. This means all hardware
is there to make the computer system work. However
without an operating system or output input device
such as a printer or scanner you cannot fully
utilize all the computer has to offer.
Now that you understand
what complete system really is, you can go out
with the proper information as you look for your
new computer system.
